With an all star cast including Denzel Washington, Gary Oldman, Mila Kunis, and Michael Gambon, The Book of Eli seems like a surefire winner.  The trailer looks good, if not reminiscent of about every other post/near apocalyptic movie.  Why open the film January 15, 2010; two weeks late for Oscar consideration?  Something tells me the seemingly biblical title may mean we’re heading for a heavy handed biblically themed ending.  I hope not.
